Pages 1-12 are from my personal children's book project called "Through the Moon Gate. The piece on the left is a book cover made with watercolor and colored pencils on cold press paper. The two pieces on the right are spot illustrations using the same mediums.

The piece on the left is made with watercolors only and inspired by a stream I found on my walk through the woods (view process work on the right). This illustration depicts the entrance to the micro fantasy world of Dikarya.

The piece on the left is made with watercolors and depicts a moment of rising action where the main character meets the mushroom people (view process work) of Dikarya, only to find out that the key to their hope may not be enough to win their war.

The piece on the left is made with watercolors and depicts a moment during the story's climax where the main character and her two brothers face the evil beetle king. These are character designs done digitally that show four main characters of the story. From left to right: Losoi (inspired by the Blue Mycena mushroom), Iris (female human main character, age 12), Mr. Toad (the Windbearer), and Captain Porous (inspired by the autumn skull cap mushroom).

These pieces were potential pieces for a Colombia Magazine article about mental health. The piece on the left was for a cover, and the piece on the right was for a full-page illustration to accompany the article. Both were done fully digitally.

This piece was a potential spot illustration for a Colombia Magazine article about an advancement in the medical field. The piece on the right is mocked up in the article on the left and shows a child with a heart problem being free through this device.

These pieces are the interior and exterior of my dream studio and were used to explore perspective and technical illustration. The piece on the left was colored digitally over a traditional pencil drawing, and the right was done fully digitally.
